First tune on the Dyno: 05 Legacy GT

Bill works with us here at STM and his car is (was) all stock.

Stock:
HP 174
TQ 174

After MBC and tune:
HP 224
TQ 249

Gained 50hp and 75 ft lbs. Decent

You can see on the chart the wideband wasn’t hooked up on the stock run.

Nice car Billy. :eekdance: Have fun…

Videos to come. Stay tuned

very nice. i love lgt’s

Nice numbers, guys. Dyno looks great, do any 1/4 runs yet?

give me a little while… I have the video.

:eekdance:

get mark to get his evo on there with the open dump, the legGT is almost too smooth and quite to look fast. Thats why I like about Bpipes the only one Ive riden in so far.

Some exciting stuff right there. Nice numbers too!

Noice

:snky:

Thanx for everyones comments

Your car is pretty… when it’s clean

Here’s the Video! Also shows the drag racing feature… kinda scary, but really cool!

what was his 1/4 time!!! hehe

Woah…tha racing definetly looks scary…would definetly take some getting used to with a higher HP car.

I don’t think we’ll be doing that to any high hp cars!

He ran a 14.9@97 lol

At the track over the summer Bill actually ran a 14.2… this year… we’ll see.

stock hp seems low though that is expected on a mustang dyno. tuned is right on par with a cob stage 1 OTS map.

Nice to see another legacy floating around rochester though.

Weird…

I love how stock boosted cars can gain so much power from a tune. Cool stuff, hope to make it out there this summer to check it out

Actually, there is no knock what so ever. The bumps you are seeing is from the straps stretching and measuring the car with wheel speed not an inductive pick up. Also the car is at 11.5 afr at full boost. If you look at the stock graph It does the same thing.

I think part of the reason it has such late boost is because testing was done in 3rd gear (less load).

It wil be back on the dyno today for more testing, as It is our gateway into subaru tuning. We need alot of practice with it since we will not learn on a customers car.

Just to note, there is no smoothing used in this graph either.

Thanks though.

That’s funny…
I was watching for knock on the pull and there was none.
And yeah, torque keeps climbing full boost…:roflpicard:

Ratchet straps don’t stretch like that with a low tq/low hp car :bloated:

I am no expert but you can see the car is lean while in boost…you posted the chart

They Were Bungie Elasticated Straps
