i seen quite a few boats floating past my house slamming into barges. Its fawking hilarious because no one can stop it. freak of nature.

i dont get why people dont get their boats and drive out into the middle of the river and wait for the water to go down. Might suck up a lot of gas but better than the alternative.
too much debris for the props to handle,
everything and anything floats down the river when it floods

too much debris like shaggy said and as for the taking the boats out, its not like going to a state park backing down and having no one else there in your way. I know the marina where my dad was was there for over 24 hours and had to stop because it started flodidng the crane and at that point human life is not worth it.
On a side note they did find my dads boat about a block away, I just got back. My dads out on the dock wreckage right now and I really can;t help do to no life jacket and its all fucked down there. he’s going to call me later with the condition of the boat.
Its not hard to find boat launches in PGH / Suburbs.

I have a boat launch litterally beside my house, My neighbor took out his Cigarette boat w/ 8.1 crew cab just like brians. If it will fit on roads. this launch is big enough for it :grouphug:

we nearly got arrested for being in point park… it’s inaccessible by truck (the whole park is a mud bog now) and the police have it all blocked off… we snuck over there on foot from the Hilton.

i was on a bridge last night and there was a cop right in front of me, he put on his lights and blocked traffic, i was like what the hell is going on, he comes walking back and says , we have to wait a minute, there is a loose barge in the river headed at the bridge and we’re afraid its going to hit it…10 min pass, comes back over, the barge hit the bridge but the engineers say it is still structurally stable… how f’d up is that…just sittin on a bridge that got hit by a loose barge

down in elizabeth, around the locks, there are barges that floated up ontop of boats and other barges… looks all fucked up.

we found the boat and already pulled it out it is in good condition other then a couple of scratches and a ripped cover and we dont think anything is wrong with the motor cause it started up just fine havent had a chance to check out the outdrive but it appears to be ok
