Food: shopping list help

So i’ve been really lazy recently and haven’t gone grocery shopping… i’ve been going out to eat all the time… as much as i like it, i really don’t like blowing money on IHop anymore… I’ve been gone off and on for the past 2 months so my fridge is totally bare

can anyone think of the essentials, I’m kind of a vegetarian, since my stomach has been giving me some serious issues. So I’m not really looking for the sahlens hotdog diet (and believe me, if i could i would soooooooo eat them).

what i’ve had in the 2 min of thinking

EVOO - obvious for pan frying
few spices -
onions
potatos
scallions
portabellas - mmmm sooo good on the grill
greens -
some fruit - apples blah blah blah
squash
peppers
bread crumbs-
90 - 10 ground beef - I HAVE TO EAT TACOS !!!
lettuce
ortega hot taco sauce
tortilla shells
sour cream
cheese

but i’m kind of at the same time looking for things to last too… obviously most of the stuff above is… also I’m kind of looking for a healthy alternative for most things too… I figure eating better while i’m young will set me in the ways so i dont shift back to that hot dog, burger diet

any other suggestions… or food tips… kind of looking for breakfast things too… i’m not a big egg fan although i will eat hard boiled eggs…

any help is good… and i figure others can use this list when they need to shop too

get some fat-free turkey and whole-grain light bread

frozen bananas ruckin fule to me lately

get some kind of nuts, peanuts, almonds, mixed - they’re good for you

hmm… i’ll get back to this. all kinds of good things you can get.

yea i’m usually a good shopper… its just been a long long time since i’ve been to the supermarket. but i kind of shop to make like 5 dinners for the week kind of deal… i’m kind of looking for versatile foods, where i can be like… shit i dont have this… well i’ll just make this… I am quite the cook soo… i make lots of things on the fly.

oh speaking of which… i made this chicken in a green bean sauce… all shit from aldi’s cost like 4 bucks for 3 people…

chicken breasts, easy to prepare and you can use them 58257089235027590 different ways. also pretty good for you
