So any word on how the track walk went?
nothing a petition and good reponse canāt take care of
No, not yet. Talked to Turk again yesterday. My turboās arenāt in and the track walk was canceled. Apparently the owner of PID/Campbells airport was out of town. I was actually more concerned about my HT60ās than the next scheduled date for the walk so I donāt have any more info. Turk assures me that the FLDās will be held there this Summer.
f the fld, bring back pid for normal good ole drag racing. never hurts to have a second venue around pgh.
I agree with having another venue so that we donāt have to give the Tedescoās money, but no, donāt f the fldās
Yeah for real the fld are almost aways a fun dayā¦
fld, was all the altoona area had to keep kids off the streets for some prp is too far of a drive and the next closest strip is beaver springs. im pissed to see it go.
well the only thing worse then payin 30 dollars at FLDās is takin it away completely i guessā¦
$30 is a bargain when you compare it to a citation for street racingā¦
Yep. Racing on Highway = $275.00 and possible license suspension.
$30- more passes than you can get at prp for 25ish
372.50 To be exact
Ah, I stand corrected. I never got one, just going off what a friend told me. Maybe he meant $275 before all of the other ticket fees.
Has anyone heard any news about Flashlight Drags lately? Or PID? Iāve sent a couple emails to the Flashlight Drags address but as usual have never ever gotten a response. Youād think if theyāre interested in support they might actually reply to an email once in a while.
isnt the shedual posted on there website
Yes, and it still has āTBDā in a number of dates, no information about the locations, nothing about PID, generally nothing whatsoever. When I talked to them at World of Wheels they had kind of indicated that something would be coming out soon. Well, itās April. Nothing. Beyond that, if theyāre going to just ignore all the email they get and never respond, take the friggin address off the site and just be up front about it. Iām trying to decide about some travel. Ohio is a non-starter for FLD, so me and some others would like to get a better idea of the schedule or weāre just blowing off FLD. They make a big deal about how the government is shutting them down, but then they just ignore people wanting information.
the ones being held at steel valley dragway are about 20min from my house just into ohio its not that for from pittsburgh
thanks for the info now go watch porn with your mom
Thatās great for you. Itās over an hour and a half drive for me. Iām not building this car to drive it to a sanctioned strip more than a 3 hour round trip drive and not being able to trailer it (FLD rules). If Iām going to do that, I can go to PRP. If both Waynesburg and PID are out, then FLD is a non-starter for my group. Plus, even though I specifically asked about it at WoW, no news about how and what rules will apply when FLD is held at a venue that publicizes that they go by NHRA/IHRA rules.
1 not a sanctioned track and if you show up before fld starts you can park your trailor and unload it, on the days the fld is there the regular bracket racing is going to start early so just show up during that,
and whats with the comment about porn, fuck you
