Lets not forget that a “base” fusion AWD is probably WAY BETTER equiped than a base Toyota/Honda.
Almost no one buys base Hondas and Toyotas because they are so base. “Oh, you want an FM radio with that, it’s an option”. The majority of those FWD foreign cars are going out the door with the same options at the same price as an AWD Fusion, so I think it’s a great comparison.
Some people are just pissed that Ford might actually be putting out a few decent cars in the Fusion and Edge.
