Ford Fusion, I think it’s an improvement over the cli-Taurus. Anyone drive, see, have one? I’m not thinking about getting one or anything like that, just curious.

is it the tore ass replacement. I would like to get one, Quality is job #1. What motor is in it?

3.0 is the optional engine, 220 and like 205 torque. Doubt it’s anything special. That’s why I ax yous. :stuck_out_tongue:

Its not a bad looking car.
I thought the FiveHundred was the ToreAss replacement.

the five hundred is a taurus… that you sit higher in. no engine options, and the same engine the taurus had.

I can only see one pic… not sure about you guys… but I can’t get a good feel for it

thank you somebody for putting a pocture of the Fusion and the Caddy CTS next to each other…anyone else see a resemblence? when i first saw the Fusion, i was flipping through a magazine and at first sight i thought it was a CTS

Fusion is a mid-size car…sort of a late replacement for the Contour.

IMO: the front looks alright, but the back looks too much like a focus. :tdown:

i actually saw one a couple weeks ago on the 290 by the 990. Didnt think it looked half bad

Car and Driver liked it. It came in 2nd, behind the Accord but ahead of the Camry and Sonata.

It’s basically Ford’s way of filling the gap between the compact Focus and the near full sized 500. Too bad the panel gaps are HHHHUuUUUUuuUU-JA.

sharp car, proven platform - mazda 6. the five hundred, fusion, and the freestyle are the taurus replacements, not one of them.

even though ford just stretched taurus production by another 6 months.
