so… who cares. when you have a Z06, you can put whatever engine you want in it. i want to put a K20 in a VW. and the VW crowd would murder me(most of them) because they are narrow minded fools. go fast with what ya got. he wanted to use his big cube, SBF, so he did. power to him.

for years its been “built ford tough, with chevy stuff” its good to see a change of pace!

All I was saying was, if he bought the car as a running car, he would have had an LS6 motor to start with.

But then why buy a Z06? Regular C5s are much cheaper to get from some random old people than a Z06.
