If you bought your system/TV in the US, it’s most likely NTSC.

Where as europeans tvs are PAL 25fps

And my TV can read PAL/NTSC so I can actually play PAL games. I don’t remember which one I got, but I did play a PAL game. It might have been GTA IV since I didn’t want to wait for it to get put out as NTSC.
