holy santa claus shit

What the…

Now that’s some wicked engineering, got the money and know how shit go for it. Just awesome.

thats about were i left off

Whoa, that is pretty amazing

Why didn’t get just have the block made out of titanium while he was at it. I mean come on now.

i know what a cheap ass

Well that about sums up every idea I have had for the last 5 years. That turbo looks like a Comp turbo, they are making billet center sections now, and oil less turbos. (no feed or drain, just a greased bearing)

Simply amazing. F1 technology at it’s best.

I think you mean air bearings, google it. Pretty sick shit. Grease would melt/expand/leak out at high temps.

OMFG!

Drew, you won’t do it.

They use ceramic ball bearings so the temperature is not as high.

That depends on your definition of high temps. Seeing as a center section normally doesn’t get hotter than 400F or so and it sits in a small lube bath. Either way I was going off of what my rep at Comp Turbo relayed to me.

I just read that thread. Some of the guys talking ish are pathetic and it is especially garbage that some shop owners are poking at them as well. Truly unprofessional.

This shit is so dope.

Just saying, there is a 70 page thread on evolutionm.net where the owner of that shop posts up on there. Everyone hates on him but the numbers he puts down on the dyno are undeniable.
