^Hey thanks for taking the time to respond intelligently to my earlier posts. I guess we’ll just agree to disagree on the religion post. It’s closed, it dead, I won’t bring it up again.
I will agree with you that some of the blatant black prejudice in this thread is BS. I.E. the sarcastic “surprise, they’re black” post. If you want to look at race and sexual predators I’ve probably gotten a dozen of those “A convicted sex offender has moved into your area” flyers since I graduated from UB 2 years ago. Most if not all were white. So based on that I could think that most sex offenders are white. Oh but wait, I have always lived in predominantly white areas. :gotme: I dunno, in my eyes skin color doesn’t mean shit. The segregation that still exists is one of financial segregation, not racial. However, there are probably more poor blacks than whites because they have only had equal opportunities for a generation or two and it’s hard to dig your way out of the ghetto.
But then again, I’m not black so I generally wouldn’t be subject to racial prejudice so the only way I would notice is by observing others subjected to racial prejudices.
So maybe current economic segregation is a result of earlier racial segregation? Does that mean that it still is racial segregation? :gotme:
Back on topic: Even though these kids are 16, if convicted of rape will they have to alert the community that they move to from now on that they are convicted sex offenders?
