FRANKENSTORM 2012

Being saltwater the costs from this may be happening for a long time.

Makes the small roof leak I have because of some bad chimney flashing seem like not a big deal.

That said, anyone know a good chimney repair guy? Need to get this fixed ASAP.

Just had my chimney pointed by AAA Timberline. They were great I would recommend them.

Another LOL

think that’s real?

Gotta watch out for those NYC flood cars now…

No way to tell just yet…There have been so many fake pictures/stories posted.

Scanners are reporting that there is a fire at Coney Island hospital, but there is no way to access it. They have tried every way and can’t get to it.

If you need a bandaid in the meantime this stuff is the best you can buy…

Debunking the fraud pics

Still working the Assassins Creed 3 midnight launch, there is no one here. Fuck.

just lots of rain here in western PA…few inches of snow in the higher elevations.

my sump pump died at some unknown point during the summer and it hasn’t been wet enough to bother replacing it so i went and got one tonight anticipating trouble. bought a 1/3hp to replace my 3/4hp which would cycle way too fast. plugged it in and it probably took 30 minutes to drain the sump pit (maybe 12"-18" deep)…i think it does 3800gph…so apparently the foundation drains were doing just as good a job on their own…maybe i’ll just unplug it

Its not even windy at my house in Hamburg. Sprinkling a bit… Power went out about 10 mins ago for 10 seconds. Yawn.

Just woke up in nt. Weak!!! Never lost power

never lost power in amherst too. glad i only bought a flashlight from dollar tree for preparation

Power didn’t even flicker in Eden for a second.

im fine in north buffalo

Yep, got nothing in ToT/N. Buffalo area. Little bit of water leaked into the basement from where the wall meets the floor. Created a little bit of a puddle, nothing more.

I committed suicide last night as I couldn’t bear the thought of trying to survive the savagery of this storm.

Watching the feeds out NYC/NJ and I can see why it was hyped and I’m glad it wasn’t as bad as predicted here.
