FRANKENSTORM 2012

yep cerealy

Well the straps certainly won’t HURT. But I don’t think they’ll help… I wonder what he used for anchors.

The one looks like it just ends at the driveway? It would be comical if he used those screw in dog run things for the straps.

Wood screws.

huh?

A very easy way, is to have your router respond to WAN pings, get your ip, at work open a command prompt and type “ping -t IP” once you lose ping its safe to assume you have no power. There are even apps for this.

You’ll have to have the modem and router off any UPS and there is a small chance TWCs connection from your house to the headend may have gone down instead of power at your house.

Should have named this storm Arod. It would have missed everything for sure.

Hurricane Sandy is the Kim Kardashian of Hurricanes. Willing to blow half the east coast just to get on TV.

Look on the bright side Jets fans, at least there’s something in NYC that blows more than your team!

The NYC crane I guess a piece missed a cab by a couple of feet. If this storm wasn’t so hyped and people could be all over NYC without getting a misdemeanor ticket, I wonder how many people would have been killed.

Tent stakes

Those straps probably cost more than that House. Lol
Not trying to be mean but that house looks like the big bad wolf could do it in.

Just drove Boston to Buffalo in under 6 hours…

O M G rain and wind

The only thing that sucked is the amount of water + semis created a wall of water and you couldn’t see shit when passing

HURRICANE SANDY ‏@AFrankenStorm

What if gangam style was actually just a giant rain dance and we brought this hurricane on ourselves? #Sandy

Under 6 hours? I want proof.

Picked up rental at 12:30

Pulled in drive way at 6:45

I did however drive thru mcdonalds on the way

Mass turn pike = race way

Boston -> NYS line kinda sucked lots of wind

Then NY was clear up until Syracuse which really sucked because there was a ton of semis kicking up walls of water.

Downtown NYC is flooded. There is a foot of water in my friends lobby already and shes a few blocks in from East River.

Meanwhile, I am amazed at the people still roaming around Times Square

Wow thats insane. Couldn’t imagine.

I can’t believe the shot from Atlantic City where there were white caps in the streets. That picture kind of looks like it too…

Manhattan is under water! Subways have got to be shot.

My parents in long island are under water. From the canal to the street. No way out. Shit is crazy
