ALso, don’t respond with STOP or NO if you get the option to. Getting a response back is a sure fire way to get your phone number added to a list of known good numbers.
Tons of people, including me, with email addresses at UB got emails claiming to be from HSBC and Bank of America. I almost clicked the link and then I was like
I told them to hack you because you haven’t made me cookies this week. </3

I tell people the same thing with CL scam emails. Your instinct is to reply and tell them to fuck off but then you have verified the address for them. Sadly most don’t listen.

Nospool, I got the same thing in my UB email. I am an HSBC customer but luckily have common sense. It blows me away how many fall for this stuff. Glad nobody in here has yet it seems.
