I know this is totally bizarre to post, but I have to bitch somewhere:
I have what might be a malignant melanoma (skin cancer). I can’t get an appointment with a dermatologist for weeks because they’re too busy Botoxing people. One dermatologist said she couldn’t see me until FEBRUARY! What the fuck is wrong with our medical system?
so are you trying to find a doctor that’ll work with your healthcare or something? maybe your healthcare sucks… but i’d venture to say that you can find a dermotogist in town that can take you sooner than months away…
i don’t have insurance… i pay cash.
i ended up getting an appointment for 10/18

its hard to get an appt for anything. when i hurt me knee it took me 4 weeks to get an apt… I limped for weeks… its retarded
ive never had a problem gettin appointments for healthcare the most i can say i waited is about a day but usually i can be seen within the hour:dunno:

I’ve never had a problem with going to the doctor, of course if you are going to see a specialist then it might take some time to get in.
yeah its real hard to get in with a dermatologist down here. Usually at least a 2-3 month wait. That must be a hell of a profession, to have people lined up 3 months ahead of time waiting for your services.
dermatologist makes mad$$ and its the least stressfull. My mom who is an MD is switching from obstetric anesthsiology, which is high stress, to dermatology when she get a little bit older.
Get in there and get it taken care of. Hope it all works out.
