Every place I have every ordered from in the past has been sending emails offering free shipping. I get these emails like everyday. I think it is a joke because these are “higher end” catalogs and free shipping would be no big deal by todays standards. I feel like sending them an email back saying, “Let me know when you are offering a real deal.” Is it just me? Yeah, I will order that $500 item if you give me $20 off.:roflpicard:
Maybe these companies are immuned to the current economic situation.
That is a policy of a lot of companies, If i order wire, I have to order 7,000+ lbs before they will cover freight. Granted freight is more like $500+ it is still a set in stone policy.
I have noticed a lot of people offering free shipping just to try and get the order in their hands vs. the competitor that charges the $5-20.
a lot of ebay listing are offering free shipped b/c live.com cashback is only on the items sale price, not the shipping.
all my items are free shipping…but that’s on large stuff like Refrigerators and Ovens which actually makes a difference with the competition.
