I have for sale a freshly rebuilt KA24DEcylinderhead. This head was never installed. It was rebuilt by CylinderHead Engineering. Here is a list of the work that has been done on the head:
-Tear down and completely clean cylinderhead and all parts
-Installed new bronze valve guides on the exhaust side, intakes are good
-Installed new valve seals
-Grind and recondition valves and valve seats
-CNC resurface (within oem spec)
-Port n Polish job on intake and exhaust ports
This head doesn’t come with cams or lifter buckets. Obviously comes with cam caps. I am asking $650. If you have another complete KA head I will do $550 with trade for the other KA head. This is a good price considering all the work that was done. This is how much this work would be if you were to walk into a machine shop:
-portnpolish job- $350
-CNC resurface- $150
-Install and cost for new bronze guides- $100
-New valve seals- $50
-Clean and recondition cylinderhead (jet wash, sand blast head and valves, recondition valves and seats) $350
ALSO WILLING TO TAKE TRADES ON PARTS!! I have a KA-T coupe and am always looking for parts. Just let me know what you have. It doesn’t have to be exact value as what I’m asking just let me know what you have and we’ll talk, figure out cash on top on my side or yours, the worst I’m going to say is no. Some parts that come to mind:
-1 piece driveshaft (ABS Diff) -Top mount stainless exhaust manifold -coilovers -front fenders -s13 coupe aero -wheels (4 bolt…stop judging me…) -s14 kouki wing
-Air compressor (5hp)
-Welder
