I have for sale a freshly rebuilt KA24DE cylinder head. This was going to go on my coupe but decided to go with stage 3 cams and valve springs so I’m just going to start over. This head was never installed. It was rebuilt by Cylinder Head Engineering. This is a great option if you are going to boost your KA, you’ll have a fresh healthy top end while gaining more horsepower with the portnpolish job. Here is a list of the work that has been done on the head:
-Tear down and completely clean cylinder head and all parts
-Installed new bronze valve guides
-Installed new valve seals
-Grind and recondition valves and valve seats
-CNC resurface (within oem spec)
-Port n Polish job on intake and exhaust ports. A port n polish job is a great way to gain horsepower with n/a but has its most gains with boosted applications. The whole point of boosting an engine is to cram more air into each cylinder. With a port n polish job you widen the ports allowing more volume of air in and giving it a smoother path for air to flow with no spots for air to hit resistance within the airs travel path.
This is a complete head with cams. The valve cover has not been painted so I can paint it to whatever desired colour you want with high heat engine paint. I am asking $800. If you have another complete KA head I will do $700 with trade for the other KA head. I can also sell with ARP head studs for an extra $150 or a cometic head gasket for an extra $130. This is a good price considering all the work that was done. This is how much this work would be if you were to walk into a machine shop:
-portnpolish job- $350
-CNC resurface- $150
-Install and cost for new bronze guides- $160
-New valve seals- $50
-Clean and recondition cylinder head (jet wash, sand blast head and valves, recondition valves and seats) $350

It doesn’t have to be exact value as what I’m asking just let me know what you have and we’ll talk, figure out cash on top on my side or yours, the worst I’m going to say is no. -1 piece driveshaft (ABS Diff) -Top mount stainless exhaust manifold -Top mount turbo (even if it needs a rebuild) -coilovers -front fenders -chuki front lip -rear lip -wheels (4-bolt, 16" or 17")
-oil cooler -blast pipes -roll cage -bash bars -ISIS control arms -wastegate -BOV -master cylinder for hydraulic ebrake (mine blew) -drag slicks
