Im sure they know all about it already and will blow it up a few years before it gets close to us. Even the thing passing by our planet the winds it would make would be devistating to us.

No not really, it’s not that big.
It’s supposed to pass close, but miss. They don’t know where it’s going to track seven years later as they have no idea what effect the earths gravitational force will have on it’s trajectory, but it will pass by again at that time.
