I searched and didnt find anything on it, but i just watchd the movie
From Dust to Glory about the Baja 1000. and it was awesome. ill say mroe about it tomorrow. sleep time.
yea, it is about 1.5 hours long, and documents the life of several Baja’ers from Superstar Johnny Campbell, Robby Gordon, and some other lesser known people…I was honestly in awe of the racers/ and the event, the entire time. The movie was put together so well(narration/pictography/etc,etc) it really makes you feel like you are apart of it…
It goes through the main classes(trophy Truck, Motorcycle, Buggy, and the old stock VW Bug class) along with some others in between.
It is basically very very good for two reasons, 1.) it was put together professionally and with much care as to represent the true spirit and dedication that goes along with the Baja 1000 and 2.) it captures fully the die-hard grasroots inspiration that every racer brings to Baja with them. Every entry costs the same, and if yo win, you might only win $4000, when the trophy truck you built to race in cost 1 mill.+
It is the truly dedicated who know what Baja is about, a test of mother nature and time for man to try and subdue…and if he can not, he will die or mother nature/time will win.
GO SEE THIS MOVIE! YOU WILL LOVE IT.!!!
