The Car: S13 Hatchback
So I got a v-speed bodykit. I’ve managed to get sideskirts and rear bumper on. My problem is the front bumper. It would seem that there is no clearance to allow me to fit it with the bumper reinforcement. I guess my question is, how stupid would I be to just remove it and install the aftermarket bumper w/o it?
bumper reinforcements are overrated
Cut the fiberglass. Keep the rebar.
what he said. without it your cars done if you hit something even at low speeds
or trim the rebar to fit properly, keep the whole bumper and your rebar best of both worlds
trim both rebar and bumper, or find a 180sx front rebar, it will probably fit with that.
yeah, but I don’t have the tools to be cutting through metal in that fashion. Looks like I’m taking it to a shop. heh
