No to the hood, but yes I do have the shaker for it. That firebird hood is in vg shape, so if one was abitious(sp?) enough you could make it into the shaker hood. I’ve seen them on ebay for $200-300 but you may get lucky and find one cheaper

That’s my plan…

Fix it up nice and have a car strong enough for the 1/8th, and nice enough to show at local cruise nights.

I am interested in your car & would like to take a look at it, could you please contact me so that I could find out exactly where it is located, & arrange a time to come & see it. My cell # is 585-590-2020 & my home # is 585-283-4197…Thanx, Jay

LOL!! I’m just an ordinary guy that was raised Pontiac. I have an 82 T/A with a (010) 350 4 bolt with fully ported and prepped 882 heads, Street Dominator intake, and a aluminum Super T 10 trans. The body is sweet, no rust at all on the unibody, just on the drivers door and hood. Car only has 63,000 miles on it. The only thing that sucks about it is the engine has so much torque, I keep going through clutches and the torque arm has broken a few times. Torque arm is fixed now, thanks to a quarter inch thick piece of 2" x 2" angle iron bolted to the arm and mounted to the tranny crossmember. I’m afraid the rear will let go if I push it on my local 8th mile track (Skyview Dragway), so my plan is to build the '79 to be a real road warrior. Great looking, powerful, and tough enough to take some track time…

back from the dead bump!!! still for sale

bump

whats the dudes name from old school??

thats who i want to be, this car would make the transformation complete!!

Good idea pulling it out of the weeds.

Have you tried cross-posting it to places like transamcountry.com/forum (like I mentioned before), 78ta.com, or performanceyears.com? The first two sites are specifically for 2nd gen Firebirds/TAs and the last one is all older Pontiac stuff. I used to spend a lot of time over at TAC when I had my '71, the site probably looks a little dead because the database got lost not too long ago.

It’s worth $2000 if the inside of the tail panel or rear frame rails aren’t swiss cheese, along with the floor or trunk pans. Being a 4 speed helps too. GLWS.

new price?

I dont think this is a real T/A, if it is theres alot missing

It’s a Trans Am. What do you think is missing that wasn’t stated in the first post(hood, bottom trim peices)
