FS: 1986 Toyota Corolla GTS Coupe

Hi everyone

I’m looking to sell my GTS coupe. I’ve owned the car since February 2004. It has it’s share of problems, but I’m not looking to make money on it, just move it along to someone who has the drive to take care of it and fix what needs fixing. So more about the car,

1986 Corolla GTS Coupe
240k ish km
Power Sunroof, works great
New pinion seal
New fuel filter
New belts, power steering belt hasn’t been installed yet, i’m including it
New O2 Sensor
Aftermarket custom catback (stock exhaust fell off)
AE92 sideskirts
I think the car has aftermarket camshafts, it pulls very hard and I can’t figure out why.

The car is pretty much stock, I only added a few things but i’m taking them off for my next car (seat, shift knob, e-brake button)

Things the car needs:

There is a problem with it almost overheating on the highway, I have come to the conclusion it’s the waterpump as most everything else has been changed. Car still drives around town fine, no problems there, just on the highway.

It will need brakes done, the pads are good but the rotors are looking a bit thin

The transmission makes a wonderful whining noise, most people who know me know the noise and know it’s very loud. Sounds like a supercharger or a turbo that never quite fully spools. Transmission still shifts fine, just makes the noise in all gears but 4th. I have a replacement transmission to go with it aswell.

Someone in a parking lot gave me a love tap and cracked my driverside tail light and centre piece. I have the pieces to replace them, just haven’t put them on.

The drivers door is very rusty, I have a replacement door for it.

The tires are pretty much done, they will need replacing.

I have a ton of parts I can include, lots of interior stuff and whatever else I can find. I will include a bunch.

Anyways, i’m looking to get $1800 for it as is. I will not safety the car, I work 6 days a week and don’t have the time. It also had it’s last e-test in march I think and it passed, so it’s done for e-testing.

If anyone wants to come take a look, call me on my cell at (905) 868-6239 or e-mail me at takeshi_nakazato@hotmail.com

Located in Holland Landing, Ontario. About 40 min north of Toronto
