The money it would take to restore it far outweighs its worth…unless of course there was a rich die hard e30 enthusiast on the board…and i’m willing to bet theres not.

it’s a rusty 325e with 200k on it. i dont even know why anyone would pay 500 for it. its slow as shit, well along in the process of reaching the boneyard, interior is no-options and is beat to sh*t. body has a good amount of rust, and I would bet the floorboards are rusted out too, and possibly the rear subframe. to make this car decent, you’d have to spend probably $6-8k.

Now if you’re selling a car like this on a forum like this, there isn’t much market as a restoration project. it’s got the undesirable metal bumpers, no LSD, no sport interior, the 127hp motor as opposed to the 169 one. Noone is going to buy this to restore it, its too far gone. maybe the shell would be worth 500 to someone to restore, but I know of a late model 325i shell rust free for $500, which is pretty common.

then again, people on here do buy beaters. so this car does have a market on here. But noone wants to pay an outrageous price for a beater.

so either sell it elsewhere and don’t be surprised that noone wants to pay $1200 for this pos

or sell it on here cheaper

or hold on to it
