I’ve done a lot of work to the car, replaced all suspension with bigger disc brakes and swapped in integra rear brakes in the back (trailing arms and all). It’s also got KYB AGX adjustable struts and H&R Sport springs, it’s a great combo. This was all done within the last year.
The drive-train is also not stock. It’s got an OBD1 (rywire harness) '94 Integra SIR-G engine (B18C 180hp and 127tq) with oem lsd 5spd tranny. Hasport billet mounts, hydro->cable clutch kit, and new axles, etc.
This summer I put in a new alternator, distributor, plugs, and wires in prep. for a trip to tennessee, which the car took fine. Averaged high 40’s and low 50 mpg.
Car will probably need exhaust work to pass ny inspection. (has no cat)
Asking for $3000
Let me know, I need the car sold asap.

However it’s nearly impossible now-days to include all the “necessary equipment” and safety features and accomplish the same thing or come in a weight range anywhere near that.
Let me put it this way, the new Smart car weighs more then the old Crx HF and has similar power, but makes a Crx look like an Hummer.
I believe it. Old Fieros with a 4cyl/4speed and their plastic shell were capable of high 40s mpg and Geo Metro/Suzuki Swift was low 50s with its 1L 3cyl. Before air bags and side impact beams and such cars were lite as hell. It also helps not having AC, a cassette player with 2 speakers and those tiny 185/70R13 tires.
I’m with Chris because you guys obviously can’t read that this DOES NOT have the dinky 1.5L…it has a B18c. I don’t care, you’re not getting 50mpg out of that thing.
Dudes chill… The guy forgot to mention he had the 155/75 tires at 80 psi, taped all the body gaps shut, and drives one foot behind a tractor trailer for full drafting on the regular… This got him to 48… The other 2 mpg was from pulling the VtaaaaAaaaaK solenoid!?
Oh I know the car as it sits now doesn’t get 50mpg, I was arguing the general blanket statement where he said if cars could get 50mpg’s we wouldn’t have hybrids.
