I truly love these cars, their truly fun little cars.
I love the styling, inside and out, one of the best looking cars Honda has produced. It really disappoints me to see so many beaten and modified to hell and back, usually ending up as half done, nearly running, hack jobs.
As prime examples disappear, clean, well maintained examples are climbing in price.
The white one is currently on eBay, the red one sold last week.
39k original miles, '91 Si, currently at $12,300 w/5 days left.
Think about the PayPal fees and eBay fees on that, in the end the profit is pretty small. I love these cars too, I think Esford and Ogk did a great job with their cars. I was dissapointed when they came out with the CRZ, nothing like the CRX, ontop of that they made some hybrid…
i think they capped the ebay car selling fees at like 400$ max or something like that for larger purchases. also there’s no paypal fees on ebay items because it’s their service
Almost everything from the 90’s that is clean and low miles is bringing a premium right now, foreign and domestic. There is a 96 bronco on eBay,high bid is 16K,reserve isn’t met.
they are very economical and handle great which is much more than can be said for virtually all hot rods.
our generation can afford to have nice things that we couldn’t have when we were teenagers. fuck saving, be awesome.
my first car was a CRX, i loved them… i’d have no issue paying $20k for a ridiculous (modified) example of a 240sx at some point so this doesn’t surprise me at all.
