dash has NO CRACKS! VERY RARE to find a good e30 dash!
the bad:
-Needs a passenger side control arm. $70-75 from any site, fap99.com seems to be the cheapest (70).
-Needs a blower motor (current one makes noise). I’m working on getting one now
-power sunroof doesnt come back, only goes up (the tilt function). I have a good power sunroof motor I will include with the sale
-the interior trim panel (HVAC panel) has a crack in it. I have a perfect one and will include it with sale.
-the hood needs to be replaced, it has a little chunk missing by the roundel (I know of a ton of BMW parts sources near here, you can probably pick one up for ~$60)
-there is a bit of rust on the bottom of the front fenders/doors. its tough to see, but its there. probably not a big deal at all for a shop or someone who wants to do it
-I don’t know if it has a vaccuum leak, but the idle is a little bouncy when you first start it up. after you hit the gas it usually goes away
On to the pics:
here you can see where the hvac panel has that tiny crack. cd player has also since been replaced, its an alpine 9852 or something also there are no wires hanging out, I rewired that crap:
and don’t worry. those stupid bmw roundels aren’t on the headrests anymore. they were there when i bought it
