FS: - 1991 Honda Civic - $1050 CASH, final price drop.

I have a 1991 Honda Civic hatchback. It is the STD model. It has a 4 speed manual transmission. No tach. I bought a passenger mirror, but havent installed it. I will include it for free. There is < 161,000 miles on it. It has had body work done. The rear wheel wells were fixed and the 1/4 panels were painted. It looks good from a distance, but when you are standing next to it, you can see the rust starting to come through again. So far what ive done to the car…

New windshield (diamond auto glass)
new battery (sears)
autozone cone air filter

the windshield leaked before it was replaced, and before i got the car it was sitting for a couple months. The water leaking in side the car just built up, and rusted some spots in the front floor boards. I had to weld in some 16 gauge steel, and sealed it with silicone, and painted it. It is very solid. There was no frame damage, so the only issue for me was that water would spray in the car if it was raining. I just want to be completely honest about the car, so you dont have any surprises once you get it home.

Due to the water and rust in the car the carpet was shot…so i got a new carpet, and seats from a 91 DX. The seats are cloth…which are way better than the vinyl ones found stock in the STD. The drivers seat is torn, the passenger and rear are in great shape. Id just grab a set of cheap seat covers. The only problem with the carpet is it was from an automatic, so there is a bit of a gap where the shifter console is. If you buy a shifter console it will be covered, but the STD just has the small rubber boot.

It also needs an alternator, the current one is seized. Im trying to get one locally for cheap, and install it before its sold. If i cant get one before you buy the car, i will take some money off for a used alternator and your time to install it.

It came with 13" steelies, but i put my HX wheels on. They will be included. You will need some front pads and rotors, which can be bought at autozone for a total of less than $40. I didnt get a chance to drive this car, except for up and down the street before i bought it, so i dont know if it will need anything else. Fuel lines and brake lines run inside the car, so you shouldnt have any problems with them.

I bought this car to use as a project / track car. But i blew up my motor in my 95 civic, and bought another car. Now, im just looking to get rid of it, as i dont really have time or money to work on it anymore. Basically, this is a solid clean car with a few cosmetic issues. If you can deal with them, this will be a great car. Or if you are looking for a car to drive for the winter, or a decent shell for a swap.

$1050 CASH. i need it gone ASAP. because we dont have any more room in our driveway. CASH, and a quick pick up will help alot. I bought this a month or 2 ago, so i never registered it. I have the title and bill of sale blank from the previous owner, so you just fill in the blanks, and its yours. No liens on the title.

lower the price and it will sell

anyone who is seriously interested, make an offer… im willing to take less. thats why its b/o.

it looks like it needs tires does it? how is the inspection? anything else wrong?
And most importantly does it burn or leak oil?! lol

as far as i can tell…it doesnt burn or leak oil. but ive only had it for a few months, and only had it running in the driveway. It might need rear tires, but the fronts should be good. The inspection expired in May, so when i had the windshield replaced, i just told him to leave it off.

ive stated all i know thats wrong with it. I forgot i have an alternator from a swap, so i might try that.

price lowered on ubrf to $1500 / BO

shes pretty clean for the year

BuMp

Good shape for the year…I’d say between $800 to $1200 depending on whether the alternator/brakes gets fixed before sale.

yeah. im going to try to do a few more things to it. one change that has been made is someone traded me ls mesh rims, for the hx wheels. same deal except 2 tires are shot…but i happen to have good ones in the proper size, so you shouldnt need tires anymore.

$1200, and ill include a b series alternator.

i got $600 on it!

Are those rims on the car in the pics the ones that come with the car then?

This was that hatch that sat up on Southwestern for like 2 months wasn’t it???..Similar mileage, condition, and color…that hatch needed a windshield and a battery both of which you said you replaced.

yep^^^ its the one that was on southwestern. he said all it needed was the windsheild and battery. it came with a few more surprises. thats why im trying to be honest about everything. it makes it harder to sell, and the price drops drastically, but im not trying to screw anyone over.

the rims that now come with the car are NOT pictured, the rims that are included are LS MESH rims (off an integra). I will get some pictures of them tomorrow.

$600 still too low…$1200 is about the lowest Ill go. Any less and its worth it for me to just keep it.

Heres some updated pics with the new LS rims…

just out of curosity, wht type of mpg does she get?
i diddnt see you post that anywhere

i dont know for sure, cause i never had it on the road, but its only a 4 speed…probably no less than 35 hwy if your easy on it.

i say keep it…you might need a second car just incase you never know.

The price just keeps getting lower…Im thinking about it. I need cash more than a car. I just bought a G20, and it seems reliable so far.

I have an alternator now that i will include with the car. The only replies to craigslist are f-ing scammers. Someone just buy this!!!

OK. I need it gone this week. Running out of room, and i need the cash. I will sell it for what i paid for it. This was before the windsheild, battery, interior, and rims.

$1050 cash takes it. i cant go any lower than that. Thanks.

just incase u go any lower send me a pm
