issues with the car:
the engine makes a ticking noise from sticky valves. I used Castrol GTX 10w-30. I also did an engine flush when i first got it. The release bearing sounds like it might need a change, it’s making a little bit of noise. The transmission shift fine, no grinding whatsoever. I get about 550-580km/tank(i havent gone more than 580 yet, I couldve but the light came on so i just refilled), so the mileage is good. I installed a new thermostat when i first got the car since it had heating issues, now everything runs fine. The cluster works perfectly, and all the cluster lights are working, recently replaced the clock light. It is still emissions tested valid since i got it tested at canadian tire when i bought the car. I have the papers to prove that as well. I also have the papers for the safety from when I registered it a few months ago.
This car has been good to me, no problems with it other than what is listed above. The gas mileage is pretty good, and as for rust, look in the pics attached. The rocker panels have minor rust on them, VERY minor rust. The frame rail on both passenger and driver side has holes in them. I was gonna redo the frame rails, but since I’m selling the car, no point.
I’m looking for $2300 including the kouki taillights. The reason for the sale is I’m looking to buy an s14. Minus the kouki tails and i’m looking for $2000. I will NOT part out otherwise. only way that I will sell the tails is if someone buys the car without the tails. And if that happens, I already have a buyer I that I have made a tentative deal with. i’ll also part out the rear vertex bumper since it hasnt been installed, but that’ll happen only if the car sells first and the buyer doesnt want it.
