I’ll get closeup of the rust. Depending how fast the car sells (that way I can put the impreza on the road, as this is registered) I’ll weld new metal on the rails and lower strut towers for the new owner for free, but thats my call vs how soon this is sold.
it seems a good price, as long as the frame rails arent fubar’d im just wondering why if you did the ka-e rebuild/swap that you didnt do the emissions removal it cleans up further and car runs better imo. but someone buy this good deal>
the drivers seat is an EASY fix. the welds break and the support is gone but anyone with a mig and a grinder can fix this in about 2hrs total time.
um. If you look at the engine bay, all the emissions stuff is removed. Nothing but headers on the right side.
I got more responses than I thought for this, craigslist went wild over night.
I need to switch insurance and registration to the subaru before this leaves my hands. I will try to get that done in the next two days, didnt expect the car to move overnight.
Because of this, I’m not interested in welding the frame rails, it wasnt part of the selling price and its fridged out. I have offers on the table for $2k flat. The car is in rochester, few people asked that as well.
Just came from the DMV, switched plates and insurance, so the car can go now. If you’re interested, let me know now, there are two people coming over tonight and one planned for Sat, as always, first person with $ in hand.
On a side note, I just got an email from a lady saying she thinks this is her husbands old car, and would like to buy it back to give to him as a xmas present because he loved it so much, so she is checking the vin. How cool is that?
