Whats with all the “beatings” talk. Just rebuild the motor the right way and call it a day. Its not as if the car puts down so much power that its all twisted up or something.
I don’t think that everyone was saying it was beat body-wise, it was more of a heads up to whomever bought the car, that this probably isn’t going to be a 200,000 mile motor. Not like any boosted honda is going to be super reliable, but this car is pretty familiar with redline. John and Don were also nice enought to post the skinny on the motor, which is great for any potential buyer because they know exactly what needs to be done. With a new set of pistons and a tranny this car would be sick. Maybe some wheels and de-stickering as well…lol
Here is a few shots of the car at the Honda meet LAST YEAR. Obviously the car does not come with these wheels. If the seller wants me to take these down I will, just shoot me a pm.
