-Hey guys, Im selling my bike. Its a 98 suzuki katana 600. About 15k miles in great condition, slowly laid down on its side once, from a stand still (noobie move =P thought I was in first but was in 2nd), slight blimish on fairing about an inch long and light scuffle on mirror backing, not noticible because its black, unless you are right up on it, other than that - perfect. (in the pics, the last picture shows the little rash mark)
Fresh oil change
Runs\shifts - 10.0 like a champ
Body - 9.0 - just those tiny little marks
Ive put about 4k miles on the bike since I have owned it. Never had a problem. I’m big on matinance so i just did the 15k tune up about 300 miles ago if that. plus. wires. boots. filters. cables and lines inspected. so on so forth.
Theres about 800 miles maybe 1k on the new tires. Dunlop Qualifers - some of the best street tires out there. Very sticky, tons of life left. The old ones were on the way out and this was by far the best choice ive made for the bike. It holds the road like crazy now.
Im looking to get $3000 or there about - with the bike in the great shape it is in, the brand new tires, and the little things and tune up, i think this is fair… Great deal and a great bike - just starting or for long time riders, very comfy too - mostly just used for commuting to and from work and crusing around.
College. Id prefer to be able to not have to work a ton of hours to pay my bills while going back to college. Medical isnt going to be the easiest and i screwed around thru high school and when i was in college before. Its time i got my prioties set. School is just about number one, and i need alot of time for studying and concentraion. The car, ive been selling that for a while, its now that I got a good deal on it from a dealer - pretty much paying off what i owe on the car - so im getting into a nice cheap car payment. The more down i have on the car, the cheaper it will be. Its alreayd pretty low, but w\ $3000 more, it will be a niiice amount less. I want to get through school w\ good grades and get into a career field i really want to be in a ell of alot more than driving fast automobiles or a car w\ extra features liek power windows and mirrors…
All pm’s replied. =D Edit Forgot to mention it has a yoshi rs-3 pipe - its just a slip on, not full system, but i like the tone alot better and it gives it a cleaner look i think, other than the huge stock can.
sounds good - i work a crappy scedule tomarrow tho 2:30 PM to 11pm. I’m free before and after, so just have him drop me a line - i should be home and we can work something out for him to come see it. =D
