I purchased this car in August of 2002 with 42K miles. It has seen only 1 winter in my possession. I have personally put on about 30k miles. This car has never been to the track, has never been auto-crossed or abused. It has never been boosted beyond 20psi and has no signs of rod knock or blow-by. In 2005, I started to seriously mod the car in which I got in over my head as my living arrangements did not allow me to put the time into the car that was needed. This car is built to be a drag car hence the high stall TC and it being an automatic. This car will pull 1.5 60’ all day long at the track with a good break boosted launch. This car does have a rear viscous LSD (some models did not), too. The head has been cleaned, decked and rebuilt with the high-performance parts. The engine has been modified to accept 1G engine parts. This was done when I changed to a 1G head from the stock 2G head.
There is also an abundance of spare vacuum hose, bolts, nuts, washers, car care products (wipes, leather treatment wipes), gasket maker material, fuses, electrical connectors, etc.
Here are the problems AFAIK. There is a nail or two in one of the rear tires. There are spots of light, light rust around the engine bay and underneath the car but nothing serious in the least. The rotors were brand new before the car was put into storage in my garage. Since then, they have been covered in rust. The pads only have 1000 miles on them. This car was in an accident in 2004 where the front driver side was hit but there was no frame damage, just a busted control arm and fender.
I will deliver this car on a flatbed in a 100 mile radius from where I live (Williamsville, NY) provided you pay an extra $100 + gas for the trip down and back.
The cost for everything is $5000, I do not accept trades. I will not part this out, it’s all or nothing. This is a helluva deal since this car will do 11’s with the mods on it and trap somewhere around 116 – 118mph in the ¼ mile. Any questions, feel free to send me a message.
