Jack … is this sold …???
I have cash in hand if not
[/quote]
Yeah, its gone. Sorry man.
Well… lets bump this.
First off it only had 40500 when I bought it off Jack. Now is has 43,xxx.
What has been done since i’ve had it:
- New tires
- New tranny fluid (Mobil 1)
- New fluid in rear (AMSOIL)
- Replaced rear wheel bearings
- New wiper motor
- 5.0 short throw
- Replaced all missing trim pieces
- New front shocks
- Purchsed chrome 17" bullitts (not the best shape however)
- Pioneer cd player
- Wheel alignment
The paint is mediocre at best. It needs some body work (dents, scrapes, different colors of black) and the hood needs a small section fixed (fiberglass). The interior is near perfect. It was just inspected a few weeks ago.
I took this to Pittsburgh and back Tuesday and it was a nice smooth ride. I was getting 26-28 mpg. There is no driver’s side airbag so the bag light is obviously on.
Any questions just ask. I’ll do my best to answer what I can, and if I can’t i’m sure Jack will chime in and help fill in the blanks.
The car is somewhere between fair and good. Here are the KBB listings.
Excellent - $8,055
Good - $7,485
Fair - $6,785
Looking for $7k
Up to date pics will be posted tomorrow.
???
worth 7k…
The entire thread is about how the car is worth $4k… now its worth 7.
:gotme:
Am I reading something you are not?? He wanted to move it fast and it was somewhat disassembled and missing parts so he sold it for $4700. The car was put back together and the missing parts were purchased. New parts were added/replaced. Rims and tires alone cost 1k tires have 3k on them.
I think you’re not reading what I’m typing.
The car is worth $7,000.
Isn’t that what you’re asking?
- New tires - $500
- New tranny fluid (Mobil 1) $50
- New fluid in rear (AMSOIL) $15
- Replaced rear wheel bearings $25
- New wiper motor $60
- 5.0 short throw $150
- Replaced all missing trim pieces $50
- New front shocks $50
- Purchsed chrome 17" bullitts (not the best shape however) $500
- Pioneer cd player $50
- Wheel alignment $50
Thats ~$1500 (high estimate) in stuff you had to search for and install.
I’m not sure what you’re missing.
he sold the car originally to pay for shit, thats why he sold it for 4k, he could of gotten more if he needed, he sold it cuz he needed money asap

There’s a bit more and the prices are a off. I’ll add them for anyone who is interested.
I took it as you being sarcastic and trying to bash thread. Thread bashing is almost guaranteed on this site.
Lol nice Jam
You don’t know me very well then. I don’t start shit.
If those prices are innacurate (aside from the wheel/tires which I just divided in half) I’d be interested in what you paid. I pulled all of those prices (aside from used trim pieces) from autopart stores. I assumed (because this is NYSPEED) that the headunit was a cheap pioneer… otherwise the model # would have been stated to show its value.
If I’m trying to offend someone on here, I usually make it pretty clear. Stating that the asking price is a deal is not offensive.
