Bike would be an excellent option for a beginner or a rider that wants some of that great torque this bike offers. I am the second owner and bought it with 1,200 miles on it so everything since the break-in has been done by me. The bike was down once at about 30mph on the right side. No major damage. Small scratches over most surfaces (luckily it doesnt have full fairings) with a half dollar sized dent in the left side of the tank from someone knocking my bike over on campus. This bike is a beast, I wanted a 600cc supersport when I was shopping but am thrilled with my choice for this bike. I have not outgrown it, I am moving across the country and will get another bike out there. You have one guess for what that is going to be…
another SV! Awesome bike all around-you can’t beat it. Get it all right now for $3,200. please shoot me an email: kunzjob AT gmail DOT com
no chain guard is sketchy as hell. My buddy just dumped his buell this weekend because a belt got shredded and caught in the wheel. He didn’t have his belt guard on.
^word. I usually keep my bikes to have only the necessary items on there. That way disassembly is quicker whenever you need to do something. Comes in handy for things like track events.
I don’t even wear sneakers/boots/anything with laces when I ride. I bought alpinestars smx+ boots a few years ago and they’re so comfy I never ride without them. Not to mention they have a nice heel so I can rest them there on the pegs. they are also much more comfortable considering I have GP shift so to downshift I have to push up, which puts a little more pressure on the top of your foot
aside from my 10r… i dont think i know anybody who leaves the chain guard on… just tuck your laces in…

I leave chain guards on all my bikes even the stunna with the up 10 in back. The (lower) chainguards that save your toes from getting cut off dont even come on our bikes stock you gota buy em aftermarket or make one.
Thanks for posting will, I figured I would sign on here and follow the thread. chain guard is off…makes it much easier to change the tires and clean the chain. It will be included with the sale.
