I’m not sure if there was a ringland failure or not. There was a bunch of oil in the intercooler pipes, and since i put the factory turbo back on, it doesn’t smoke at all. I think it was a turbo issue, not blowby. the car runs and drives awesome. I have been daily driving it for 3 weeks to see if any of the old problems appeared and they have not.
Newmann, you could be asking $2,300 for it and it wouldn’t sell on this board. Let me give you the obligatory response here “If you still have it in the spring, I’ll take it.” Or, “I NEED to sell my car and buy this.” Put it on Autotrader, honestly.
This myth about NYSpeed not having money is completely not true. I know of many cars that sold over 20k and many owners that can easily afford their 20k+ car.
Personally, I’m tired of seeing people make this stereotype. Granted there are a lot of trashy imbeciles who have shitty credit, live in a shithole and can’t afford to put gas in thier GMC Jimmy- but there are also plenty of successful, intelligent and accomplished memebers also.
Just because a heavily modded junker won’t get sold for its MRSP + aftermarket parts cost, does not mean the forum as a whole is poor and cannot afford it.
Anyone that thinks this is a bandwagon fggt that can’t think for themselves. ( Excluding Jay, whom I like, yet holds this opinion )
The only people that complain about that shit are the motherfuckers that aren’t at a point in their life when they can afford it. ( besides Jay of course. )
