Hey guys, I have a friend who is looking to unload 4 Mets tickets for next week’s game against the Reds. They’re great seats right behind the Mets dug out. The game is May 10th at 1:00 PM. holy crap thats expensive. Never been to a mets or yanks game so I have no clue how much good seats go for. Thats insane, IMO
Face Value for Game Day tickets which you cannot get is $405 for Field Championship infield. I have a good connection and pay about $250 per game to sit down bottom with the wife.
Next year, those tickets will be $500-$2,500 per ticket.
WHY? There are 80+ baseball home games, I always thought baseball games were cheaper since they are so many games.
I usually go to GIANTS game every year. Face value on those tickets are under $100 and I always sit within the first 20 rows between the 30 yard line markers. Only 8 home games… :confused

Price of the new stadium + the price of the employee salary + their desired profit margin = 0wnage for us.
$100 for where? I have yet to find fair ticket prices for Giants games. I sat 10 rows back on 45 yard line and paid dearly.
what was the price written on the tickets you had?
my father did some dental work for a guy that had 8 season tickets and he used to give them to us for twice face value (which is a deal). It’s been two years since then, but it was only $150. They were between the 30-35 yard line and about 20 rows back. I’ve been closer and even on the 3rd deck, but no idea how much those tickets cost.
I’m sure tickets this year will be much more expensive… for obvious reasons
This was a price season game and we paid like $200 or so.
If you decide not to go to the game, I can gladly take them off your hands …

i just got free box seat tickets at field level behind home plate for tomo’s yanks/mariners game. after reading this thread im pretty tempted to sell them lol but prb not since i’ve never been anywhere but the bleachers before. with my luck it will rain tomo. :sad

Free is good. Tickets are Field Box, Gate 2, Section 24, Box 100, Row K. Thats about all i know lol. Just hoping for some good weather or atleast baseball-able weather.

Man, you just totally decimated my bubble. The people i’m going with had been telling me we were in the blue (seating chart) behind home plate. I’m kinda disappointed now… thanks a lot lol. Hey atleast i can come to terms with it a day in advance AND if we do have wait waiter service i’ll never pay ten bucks a beer. Sorry to threadjack.

Behind home plate is like 0-15 or so. I like 5X to sit right behind the Yankee dugout.
