I hate to do this, but I think that right now I"ve got higher priorities than upkeep on my old VW. I am selling my 1973 VW Cabriolet, Red in color. This car is in great condition. I am selling because I really just can’t afford to continue to drive it right now, With no garage I can’t have classic car insurance, and that makes insurance nuts. I hate to see it go, but If I can get what I’m asking for it I will have to wait till another VW comes along for me to pick up when I am in a more financially stable time in my life.
It’s condition:
The Paint: Off body restoration and paint job 3-4 years ago. Has some rust bubbles, and a small rust hole (Size of pencil eraser on back of pencil). The paint has some wear, but is in pretty good shape, a detail may bring it back to life.
New Interior: New door panels, Dash, Steering wheel. Custom back seat Delete. 2 Seats out of Dodge Colt, In decent condition, driver seat has some burns and tears (Car has NOT been smoked in, Seats were burnt before they went in).
