1990 dark red 300zx tt, 148k the bad… car needs a clutch, the good… car has a Jim Wolfe computer,14 LB boost jets, 18" lowenhart wheels with newer dunlop rubber. The car would make a great project car, very solid and complete. It still runs and drives just hates boost!!!. My plans for the car were to take off the Fast and Furious decals on the side, along with the giant Stillen Spoiler and Stillen front Fascia to put the car back in “stock” form. The car is sold as is, but all it really needs is a quick clutch job…cant be a stock replacement as for it will be smoked . $5,200 / offers Pm me for more info

the factory clutch assbly cannot handle what the car is putting out, ontop of that the clutch is bad so any form of power makes it slip.
Yeah, but there are a # of reasons it could not boost other than that. I was just wondering if based on the car’s description there may be another reason why it hates/doesn’t boost.
Seller: It may be in your best interest to fix the clutch before you sell, as it’s hard to prove it don’t have any real boost problems, with test drives and whatnot. Fix the clutch.

he never said it doesnt boost. id imagine it drives fine under normal accel but when its boosting the clutch slips.
hence it hating boost.
…yeah no problem boosting, or driveability, just needs a clutch. LOL you can drive it down the road and spool it up if you want…but if the clutch finally lets go I am not pushing it back!!!
