OK…The time has come.
I’m selling “The Project”. This has been a really great car to play with. I’m only the second owner, I’ve had it for 3 years. The original owners were an older couple, drove it daily from Wayland to Rochester. They took great care of it, but it IS 14 years old with almost 208,000 miles. Man, these cars are built to last.
Runs perfect, handles even better.
Here’s the mods:
Full Do-Luck body kit-modified front end
Full repaint- Azure Blue
Custom grilles
Reversed scoop
RS wing
Clear side markers
Clear turn signals-front
Shaved rear door handles
KC Daylighters
Megan Racing coilovers
KYB struts
VSR(ADR) 17" Wheels
Kuhmo Ecsta tires
3R Muffler
Mobil 1 (Since 100,000 miles!)
JVC Head Unit(older unit w/ cassette) (I use an iTrip)
All new brakes
New Interstate Battery
New Filters-all
A/C (not working)
Power windows/locks
Mentioning if you ever changed the cam belt or seals would help the sale along. As well as if you ever messed around with the head gaskets. Listing previous work done on the engine is more important than the mods because if you did replace the belt/seals/head gaskets (if the h.g. needed it) then that car is worth it’s weight in gold with the way that looks. I see cars with 220k go through in sales for $3k all day, so if any of that is done this car is a steal. I used to have an Impreza and finding parts for it was not only hard in my opinion, but very expensive.
Well…
Since you asked: prior to my ownership
1/02 165,000m Full exhaust w/converters (new muffler added since)
3/02 169,000m Fuel lines/ Timing Belts
6/03 187,000m Half shaft & tie rods
8/03 190,000m Plugs & Head & Valve cover gaskets
I wish I could have a 2.5 turbo that I could afford
It is great to know that all that important work was done. It deters alot of people from getting subie’s because of the headgaskets that normally go after 100k miles, but for some it never happends. Very nice.
BTW if someone buys this I have halo headlights for this same car. Used to have them on my 96 Impreza.
