The Car:
1995 240sx (Black) This car has been the most reliable car I’ve ever owned. She turns heads, and gets lots of attention.
She’s been babied and well maintained. Religious oil changes every 4.5k, (Mobil 1 Synthetic). This car has not been ‘drifted’, or abused as that can be an expensive hobby. I’ve already fixed the more common problems such as blower resistor and power window switches. This car will run for a very long time without needing any work.
It is an LE with all of the power options and sunroof. Everything off the top of my head works with the exception of cruise controll, and AC which wasn’t connected when we did the SR swap.
The body is in good shape, with the exception of some rust and chips as noted below. It has a silvia grill on the front, and the Headlights are not even slightly yellowed like so many cars out there. The rims are also in great shape with no curb rash, they practically look new! I am not sure the exact mileage on the body however, since the cluster was replaced to fix a broken rpm needle on engine install.
The car has also been undersprayed by Krown each year that I’ve owned it.
Engine:
Blacktop SR - Professionally Installed by MRW Motorsports. Roughly 35k-38k put on engine since Install. Engine has been running at 9psi steady. Altough easily done with the modifications, the boost has not been raised any higher. This car has been rock solid the whole time. It pulls like a champ, it is in fantastic shape, and clean as a whistle. I’m sure it will be very accepting of higher boost levels if you wish.
Mods:
3" Custom exhaust piping all the way back w/ magnaflow muffler (sounds very low, deep, grumbly and Powerful!!)
Walbro Fuel pump
Greddy front mount Intercooler
Koyo Racing Radiator
3" downpipe w high flow cat
New Yokohama AVS ES100 High performance Tires
Brembo Rotors w/ Hawk Racing Pads. New front Calipers also installed recently
Battery located in trunk
Silvia Grille
New 5spd shifter console with boot
Stereo
Kenwood MP3 deck w/ detachable faceplate and a aux port hooked up
New High end Infinity Speakers all around, with custom 12" sub that was made to fit into the tiny space behind the seats, so it actually leaves you with trunk room! Powered by a Alpine V12 4 Channel amp, the system sounds amazing (It’s also currently voice controlled and you can talk to it and tell it what to play, but that’s not included)
The not so great things:
The underbody is in great shape, however there is rust bubbling on the two rear wheel wells that needs to be fixed soon, and some just starting to bubble up on the rocker panels. It is not too bad, but should be replaced so that it doesn’t spread. Like I said, it’s been krown undercoated, so the underbody itself is actually in great condiditon.
The hood and bumper have some minor paint chips, and the lower bumper lip is rock chipped pretty good, but is not something
you really notice unless you get low and/or is easily replaceable by getting that sexy greddy lip.
There is a minor shallow dent the size of a dime on the roof that only I notice. The drivers side seat has the usual rips that all S14’s seem to have.
The rest of the body is in good shape. And the paint on the rest of the car is in great shape! As you can see by the pics, the car shows very well.
The car comes saftied, and we can work on the emmisions for a little bit more. I am asking a very fair (and firm) price of $10,900. I am expecting this car to sell fast, because if anything this car is understated. I am in no rush to sell the car, but the ad will be going in autotrader if there is not interest within 3 weeks. I am also not interested in test
pilots.
I am also looking for a nice looing reliable beater car for the time being <1500, if somebody wants to trade against it.
Please email me with any questions at: Radmelick@gmail.com
And no I will not sell you the car if you plan to put any of the following on it.
a gigantic wing
overuse of carbon fibre trim, or paint the interior pieces
stupid decals
any kind of neon lights
It’s a respected car, and I want to keep it that way.
More Pics coming shortly.
Thanks,
James[/list]
