a reason i do like these is they are very light compared to a spring/strut assembly but
the seals on these suck balls, anything over 150psi and the seals fail, i just think these would be cheaper/easier than having to rebuild the ones i have.

You can buy a whole set of 4 from me for $200.
This is an example of the money that can be made in after market items.
I will be putting a set of these on ebay to see what I can get.
Maybe I will start the bidding at $200.:gotme:

How thick is the shaft on the cylinder? Depending on the thickness, i can get a good idea on how strong and durable the cylinders are.

I will have to check Monday.
Have you had problems breaking the piston rods?
There really shouldn’t be much sideload in this application.:gotme:

I can make many different bores and strokes.
What are you looking for?
Keep in mind that a smaller bore cylinder will lift less weight.

i might be interested in lifting my tonneau cover with smaller ones that would require less pressure. I can get measurements on the struts on it and go from there.
