FS: Ariens Snowblower, runs but needs some repair 24"

“SOLD” I have a 24" Ariens snowblower that I am looking to get out of the garage. The motor and drive runs great, but the auger needs some repair. It seems as though a key has broken in the diff, but due to years of neglect from previous owner, I cannot separate the auger from the shaft in order to get the diff apart. I used the blower for about 5 years with no problems prior to this broken key. I assume that an acetylene torch and some massaging could get the auger off the shaft, but I don’t want to mess with it anymore. I do have the original manual and a few spare belts for it.
Make an offer or it goes to the scrap yard.

My guess is that inside the auger gear box the Worm Gear is stripped in it. It’s a common issue. I may even have the part BNIB from a snowblower with the same issue I decided not to fix.
