Was in the mall with said girl, said girl seen a ring she liked, I bought it.(not engagement or anything)
Said girl was a psychopath I turned the ring back in a few days later and bought myself some bling.
Mine picked out the “cheapest” ring she sould because she felt bad. I had to proactively push her into something a little nicer as to not look like a douche to her family. I still came away without spending much money at all, and she got a really nice ring.
