Pending what the interior looks like I would definitely consider picking this up.
I couldn’t get in all the way in the car. The driver’s door wouldn’t open all the way. The back seat is totally chewed up, the fronts look OK. Can’t remember the headliner or the carpet.
Also, to those who have PM’d, I will try to get his phone again. It’s gonna be hard to get as it sits in a lot where there’s not much activity and nobody is usually around.
Sorry about the shitty pics but I was in a big hurry. It started raining like hell.
To be truthful, i was expecting much worse.
dibs on the cb
There’s you future car John …
Doesn’t look too bad for $1k, looks like someone took a messy shit on the back seat though.
That steering wheel is worth some money, depending how worn it is.
Anyone wanna go in on this and part it? I could srsly use some extra cash.
from the looks of it, there is nothing to part, your not going to get anything for the interior, the body parts are the same as a normal regal, i would grab the aluminum bumper supports, the aluminum brake drums, the wheel and horn ring if its not cracked, as they dont make those anymore, and whatever turbo crap there is. shit grab the motor also.
as long as there is a 7 in the vin its a GN, ttype
they are.
Why don’t you do it then? I’d love to…
You obviously seem to know a decent amount about these cars.
i dont need a broke GN motor.
i know alot about them lol but i dont have a GN anymore.
Well that answers why you didn’t/aren’t doing it. haha.
I could use some parts off that thing. Let me know if you are seriously going to buy it. Also, i thought not all GN’s have aluminum drums and bumper supports. I know mine has steel bumper supports and drums.
Edit: fggnfast: are you sure on the year? Because those are 84-85 wheels and if it is an 85 then it has the hot air motor.
^^thats what i was thinking^^ would have to see under the hood, These things were notorious for warranty work when new and who knows what might be under there now.
Edit: Hmm, I actually have a G-body in need of quickness. I’d love to know more about that motor. I wish I had a garage right now.
