FS: Huge Honda cars/parts sale. All-motor, rims, tires, etc. (pics)

EDIT: I just realized that this is my first post here on NYspeed. I didn’t notice any rules against that, but know some forums have problems with newbies posting stuff FS. If it’s a problem, let me know. I’ve been a regular on roclife.org for a long time now, as well as ubrf and honda-tech and have plenty of vouches…just here to get some quality parts to the masses.

Hey everyone,

I’m out of money and need to pay tuition, so I’m selling both of my cars. For those who know me, feel free to bump/vouch as you see fit. If interested in anything, I can be reached here (PM), on AIM at timadams85, or my cell phone number is 585-739-0376 (Tim). All prices are negotiable…and if you buy a bunch of shit, I’ll cut you a deal.

Everything is located in Rochester, but I’m willing to meet people/deliver parts within a reasonable distance (from Buffalo to Syracuse). Or I can ship items wherever.

Overview of what’s for sale:
-Red ’93 civic hatchback, B18B swap with some drive train upgrades
-Flat black ’90 civic DX hatchback shell (b-series ready!)
-Engine parts to put the ’90 civic hatchback into the 11’s on 93 octane ALL-MOTOR

First the red 1993 civic DX hatch: (MAY BE PARTING OUT IF UNABLE TO SELL AS A WHOLE, SO LET ME KNOW IF THERE’S SOMETHING YOU WANT FROM THIS CAR)

I bought this car from my friend Tim about three years ago. It’s been a good car to me ever since, and I still drive it every day. I have all the papers for the engine swap and some of the parts. I promise you, everything is legit. The car ran 14.90 @ 89 mph as it sits (stock engine, downpipe, exhaust), on street tires. It’s also a very solid/fun platform for autocross. However, due to rust issues, I might end up parting this out, so if you see something you want, let me know…

THE GOOD:

-B18B from a 95 integra (obd1) with papers, approx. 110,000 miles
-ITR transmission with LSD, ATS 4.9 final gear (installed by Owen_the_soyboy)
-Exedy clutch with aprox. ~30,000 miles.
-Clutch Masters 8lb. flywheel, ~30,000 miles.
-Whale penis intake, new KN filter
-Integra (DC) front seats
-ITR shift boot
-Dual-bend short shifter
-Koni yellows/GC sleeve coilovers.
-14 in. 5 spoke mystery rims, 14x6 I think
-Falken Azenis tires 195/60-14. Fronts are nearly new (3,000 miles), rears are like 50%.
-Skunk 2 front camber kit.
-Spoon lookalike mirrors
-OEM front lip
-Brakes are in solid condition, no problems

THE BAD:

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2076/2123698671_e315fe6cee.jpg
-The car is (obviously) rusty in the typical places. I would recommend the buyer have some serious work done to the rear ¼’s (OR a simple bondo job could make it presentable).
-The windshield has a crack across the bottom. doesn’t leak or obstruct view.
-The car doesn’t like to start warm sometimes on really hot days. Unsure of what the problem is. The distributor is good, sometimes throws code 6 (water temp sensor), but car never overheats or runs hot. (Any suggestions? Could be an easy fix.)

Again, this is a very fun, quick, reliable car to drive. Always in its torque/power curve thanks to the gears. If you’re interested in taking it for a test drive, the car is still registered and inspected until Sept. '08. Just let me know. 2500 dollars to start. Reasonable offers considered. Again, I might part the car out, so let me know if there’s something you’re interested in.

Flat black 1990 race ready civic DX hatchback SHELL

I’ve owned this car since it was stock in 2001 or 2002. It is ready to drop a b-series swap in and go.

It comes with:
-B-series hasport mounts
-hasport shift linkage
-rear Integra T bracket
-obd-0 b16a wire harness (complete)
-good brakes/lines
-stock shocks, decent coilovers (similar to gc).
-heat works
-exterior is actually very nice for flat paint (it was sanded, primed, and rattle canned…would look better with some sanding and another coat).
-It also has a crx steering wheel and an accurate tach/shift light installed.

Engine bay:

Inside:
http://farm1.static.flickr.com/105/253079995_6f96685222.jpg

I’m in the process of getting more pics of the car. The interior is basically stripped to the bone besides the door panels and dash. However, I have many interior parts for it (see integra seats below, integra center console, etc.).

Taking offers on this car at the moment…mainly just gauging interest.

PARTS:

Again, all prices are negotiable.

  1. FRESH, built b19 LS short block, DONE RIGHT.
-B18A bottom end, bored to 1.869L
-RS Machines pistons .30 over (B16a cast) and rings
    -ARP rod bolts
-B16a oil pan, oil pickup, windage tray
    -ARP GSR head studs
    -New OEM timing belt
    -New OEM headgasket
    -Lightened OEM crank pulley
    -All new ACL main/rod bearings
-All random gaskets replaced with OEM

-All machine work was done by Engine Assembly in Rochester, NY (good/skilled people). They cleaned the block, bored it .30 over, polished the crank, rebuilt the rods with the ARP bolts, and balanced everything (over 500 dollars was invested in the machine work alone, which I have a receipt for). The block was assembled pretty much entirely by Owen, here. He rules. This engine is built to rev to 9,000+ safely and reliably. With a good combination of head parts and bolt-ons, this has potential to make over 200 whp.

whats the compression ratio for that bottom end?

I’d planned to run an ITR (pr3) head, which would have put it at about 11.5:1. A GSR head would be slightly higher…like 11.7:1 I think.

Oh yeah, and I also have an ITR head for sale with the usual port/polish and 3 angle valve job, and a port matched Skunk2 manifold to go with it. Just haven’t had a chance to take pics of it yet.

how mcuh for the motor trans outa the red hatch

BumP for a good seller and assembly man. I will guarentee anything you anyone buys here will not be dissappointed.

I haven’t priced parts from the red hatch yet, cus I’m still trying to sell it as a whole. I’ll get back to you if I do part it, though.

Thanks for the vouch 99_civic_si!

black hatch is in nice shape

free bump
glws

willing to part with any of the wheels frfom either 2 cars? let me kno asap i need some new wheels

very good quality FS post! glwts!

how much for the suspension and camber kit…???

The wheels on the black car are in REALLY bad shape…mainly just on there to move it around. So I doubt anyone would want them.

For the time being, I’m trying to sell the red car as it sits. But if I end up parting it out (I’ll most likely have a good idea of interest by next week sometime), I’ll contact everyone whose shown interest in the parts and list the prices for everything.

Thanks again to all for the kind words.
-Tim

price on the im spacer?

$15. Oh, and it’s for a DOHC VTEC PR3 (b16a or b18c5) head.
