Bought this from a customer who was told it would need a huge amount of money to repair. He’s an ultra wealthy businessman who travels more often than not so this TV does not have a lot of hours on it. It is not wall mountable, which is the reason why I cannot use it in my home. I thought it was when I agreed to buy it and now it needs to go to another home. I don’t have the room in my home for it on a stand.
Unit is nice and clean, no scratches or damage, and is currently at my cousins home until it finds a permanent home. I had a very knowledgeable local repair shop diagnose the problem as a bad projection bulb, which was replaced. Unit works just fine and I’ve viewed it in operation and impressed with the picture quality. I don’t know the year or model but I am almost certain it’s a Mitsubishi WD65C9 DLP Rear Projection and isn’t more than a few years old. Here is a link I found on a search. It is large, but surprisingly light. It is lighter than my old school JVC 32" tube TV. At this point, as much as my cousin is loving the use of it, I just want to get my money back out of it. Asking $ 750.00 firm, decent price so no low ball offers. I will deliver to just about anywhere in the WNY area, weather permitting, or you can pick up in the southtowns. Thanks.
Totally wall mountable… guaranteed not to stick out from the wall any further than your PS3, XBOX, cable box or 7.2 receiver… lol.
I never understood getting a 2" deep tv to have it sitting about 18" of DVR and shelving… if you don’t have the room for a 65" DLP, you shouldn’t be looking at a 65" tv. haha
