Looking for $3000 as is and thats losing alot on it…
yeah bob is selling a sweet ass unique truck for only 3g, usually 3g you get just the sr motorset. but bob is selling a truck with a sr20 and fresh new parts. definitely a steal. GL
I’ve been asked for more detail on the body so here goes.
Due to the fact it’s a body on frame truck, the cab, and the box can be completely removed from the truck. The box takes 6 bolts to remove it from the truck. When I first picked up the truck, a spent a month welding in sheet metal on one side and then building it up with filler to get it looking decent. Long story short, bondo doesn’t hold.
You’re options are to do the bodywork, get the bodywork done, cut out the fender area and get fender flares, or find a new or used hardbody box.
The cab has rust down near the rockers on the passenger side and towards the rear on the driver side. Rust at the top along the window, and some fixed up spots on the roof. Fix it, get it fixed or buy a cab in better shape… you can do that with this truck, because it’s modular, not unibody.
Because the front end is all basically new stuff, there isn’t any rust except on the lower rad support which you cant really see.
The frame has surface rust all along it… the previous owner apparently didn’t rust check it or wash it. But these are paper thin frame rails like on a unibody, these are thicker truck style steel channel rails. Best part is, you can buy channel in this size and weld in a brand new section of channel. Structurally it’s solid though.
I’ve also been asked what else it needs to saftey. Besides the ebrake, and the windshield, it needs reverse lights. Thats it.
