its 720p, fyi… 1080i is just converted

edit: if you still have this after christmas I may snag it for gaming… this is the exact tv i was going to buy, just need to see how my finances look after xmas.

edit2: wikipedia HDTV to understand fully - 1080i is the broadcast standard, LCD tv’s don’t display “1080i” it is converting the broadcast standard, in the case of this tv to 720p. LCD’s don’t display interlaced, only progressive

edit3: 720p is more than adequate for a 37" screen - 1080p i don’t think even exists on 37", i think only 40+

edit4: i lied, there are some 37" 1080p’s… really overkill for that small of a display though imo

oh and to the original poster quick question, can you remove the base? I’m not home and I never checked if its possible but I wanna wall mount mine…
