Avery,

Apparently you have forgoten to mention one of them is seized… perhaps you should put that in your post…

nope i got 2 sets

the ones i got that were seized i have rebuilt and are on my car

these are a different set dont assume you know what im selling you dont

26 or 30 mm

30mm

Now that is sketchy… rebuild seized calipers and sell good calipers… interesting…

It’s sketchy…[/quote]

I’ll give Avery good points. If I had cash to spair I would pick these up. With any used caliper I would rebuild them, its not that big of a deal. Just takes some your time. These are so cheap, you can’t go wrong anyway.

Andrew.

they are not “so” cheap.

let see here

i bought these calipers for 200…then i came across seized ones for cheaper

so i rebuilt them and used them and now i have an extra set lying around

i cant tell you forsure that they will be 100% perfict since i got them from a store that imports shit from japan so who knows the condition

if you dont like what you see then dont waste my time and go buy a kit already put together

i *was mistaken… *sorry dudes!

26mm Z32 calipers are DEFINATLY alluminum.
i believe 26mm were only used for a year or two, then it went to iron calipers.

30mm calipers should ALL be iron. (it helps with warping…lol, or not warping)

again, i stand corrected. 90% sure though

*edit

You’re wrong…

30mm came in Aluminum as well…

26mm are all aluminum and only came on 1990 NA Z32’s

30mm aluminums came on 1990 TT’s and 91-94 Z32’s all

30mm Iron came on 1994+ Z32’s all

now there is overlap of 1994 there, i am not sure if it goes one way or the other but 1994 is the change year.

bing lays teh smackdown

DTS,

Are you trying to tell me you can get rebuilt 300zx calipers for under ~$180? It will not cost you all that much to rebuild this if you wanted, maybe another 50 bucks ontop of purchase price of 180. And Avery says they are in good working condition. Looks like all you need is hardware, like the clips etc. Which is not that expensive.
IIRC bing gets rebuilts with pads and hardware for 350 er something, this is cheaper…

You cannot even find used 30mm 300zx calipers on ebay for under 150US.

Andrew.

lol everyone please stop fighting i just want to sell some calipers

look what i have done :frowning:

Avery, I must appologize / explain.

I tipped off DTS. That these could very well be the Calipers i sold you for $90, where the one side was seized.

This did put doubt in DTS, and made him reconsidder/think harder.

You did state that these were different calipers. I think it should be left at that. 30mm alluminum.

Mine were 26mm.

Regardless this is a great deal, and even if you have to rebuild the calipers…it’s a nice SMALL learning project anyone can do…

And you’re buying locally, not from some dude in Alabama…

bump.

thx for clearing things up

PM’d did you get it?
