My cars not painted yet because I am still working on my kit. I am still getting waves out and still need to put the 1 side skirt on and fender flare. Which is the reason I havent gotten around to getting wheel spacers cuz I like working on 1 thing at a time.

Didn’t see me at VIP? I was there. And at the meet at Mad Mex, we showed up late and only stayed for an hour. Thats where I met Whitey. Seemed kool at the time.

Actually wanted to see how well the body kit was made. It seemed ok the fit and finish but would have liked to see up close. It is not my thing with body kits but still like to see the quality of different manufacturers.

This one, all but it being thin, is actually ok. I mean, it needs work, but that is with every fiberglass kit. When I was at that meet this weekend, some of the kids looked at it and were giving me advice on how to fix the side skirt not linign up with the fender flare. That is the only part that really doesnt line up. That was because the side skirt wasnt long enough. Thats gonna be a lot of work.

Tuscani, it seems to me that the large majority of Pittspeed members are interested in some aspect of automotive “performance”…being that you seem interested in automotive stuff not performance related, you’re going to get made fun of here.
I’d tend to think that if you got serious about improving your cars performance enough to somewhat backup it’s wannabe racecar looks, people would start to treat you differently.

Yeah but the thing is, most of the ppl on here are in it just for performance. When they see someone with a kit come on, they jump on them. Not assuming that maybe they are into show AND performance. I don’t like doing one or the other. Putting on a bodykit does not take away room for engine mods. Yeah, it may not have that sleeper look, but I dont want that. I like doing a little bit of everything, and since visual shit is usually cheaper than most performance stuff, while I have very little money, I am working on the visual shit that I can afford. This is not gonna be an all show Tibby. I just need a lil time and money, thats all.
